As one of Silicon Valley’s original seed-stage venture firms, Uncork Capital needed a rebrand that balanced its modern energy with two decades of established trust.
To bring this new identity to life, we developed a motion system for the website interface—creating a distinct, high-end user experience that is both deeply intuitive and perfectly aligned with the new design guidelines.
Logotype in Motion
The logotype went through several rounds of exploration before we landed on a rotation. The client chose the rotating mark because it carried meaning rather than just movement: it turns like the hands of a clock, evoking urgency and unleashed potential. It ties directly to Uncork's own positioning — investing early, before it's obvious.
USER INTERFACEs
The UI extends the rebrand's editorial sensibility across the full platform, built to function at scale. From the homepage scroll sequence to the companies directory to individual team pages, the same motion logic runs consistently throughout, built specifically for Uncork.
