1. Project Overview
Commissioned by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this project delivered two distinct key visuals to establish Taiwan identity as a living, breathing AI ecosystem. The visuals merge the island's unique landscape and nature with technological and digital domains, showcasing the harmony between these two dimensions.
Client: TAITRA
Creative Direction: Daniel Camacho (M+P Studio)
Project Type: Visual Campaign
Core Deliverables: Two animated and static key visuals promoting Taiwan's role in AI.

2. Taiwan At the Heart of AI
For the first key visual, the core concept was to connect Taiwan's unique topography as the starting element for a series of transformations, visually linking real shapes like the island, the globe, and the city with more abstract concepts like data-processing and neural networks. We developed a particle system to trace and outline these shapes, providing a perfect animation system to transition from one shape to the next.

3. From Labs to Life
For the second key visual, we used the orchid as a unique and original symbol to represent Taiwan's mindset with technology as an integral part of its fundamental identity. The vast variety and spectacular patterns of Taiwan's natural orchids provided the perfect canvas to explore a core theme: the evolution of a concept from its digital origin into real-life integration.
The selection of materials for the orchids was a critical step in translating the concept of evolution from digital to physical. We started with materials that captured the abstract and technological aspects of AI, before transitioning to organic and natural materials that represent the final stage of the process.

For the animation, we rigged the orchid 3D model to control its opening, adding value to the main motion. After testing different camera angles, we decided to start with a close-up shot of the orchid going through its different material stages to showcase its transformation process. This was followed by a pan across the fully formed orchid branches, ending on the same frame as the static key visual.
